Michael Froomkin, professor, University of Miami School of Law and member of Project HealthDesign’s ELSI Group, has written a new paper entitled “The New Health Information Architecture: Coping with the Privacy Implications of the Personal Health Records Revolution.”  This thorough discussion of the complexity of and potential options for addressing privacy issues in next generation PHRs is both thoughtful and thought provoking. Froomkin begins with the evolution of the architecture of heath records and ends with a discussion of policy issues. Click here to read the paper.
